Jack of All Arts Update Blog: Expanding Horizons, New Categories, and Fresh Features

Welcome back to another exciting update! This week, I’ve been hard at work adding new content, reorganizing sections, and introducing categories that better reflect the many facets of Jack of All Arts. As always, this is an ever-evolving project, and I’m thrilled to share the latest developments.

Queers of History: Growing the Legacy

The Queers of History section continues to grow, celebrating LGBTQ+ figures who have shaped the world. Along with the existing entries for Alexandra Grey and Alice Walker, I’ve added more names that will soon have their own detailed entries. This section is a personal passion project, honoring the stories that inspire and empower.

Recipe Index: A Tasty New Addition

To make recipes easier to find, I’ve created a dedicated Recipe Index. Previously, recipes were nestled in the Wild Food & Medicine section, but now they have their own home for quick access. The latest addition?

Stay tuned for more recipes as I continue sharing my kitchen experiments!

New Categories: Diving Deeper into Curiosities and Ideals

1. Human Curiosities

This category explores the unusual, the unexplained, and the downright strange. It’s a space for stories of people with “beyond reason” experiences, be they medical mysteries, supernatural encounters, or things we simply can’t explain. Maybe real, maybe not. Who knows? Either way, it’s endlessly fascinating.

2. Leftist Stuff

Surprise! If you haven’t figured it out yet, I’m a leftist. This new category collects my thoughts and resources related to leftist ideals, including:

  • Pro-Palestine content.
  • Anti-Zionist perspectives.
  • LGBTQ+ advocacy.
  • Anti-fascism.
  • Anti-capitalism.

This section will continue to expand as my ADHD brain remembers all the things I want to include. Collecting all my interests in one place has been quite the journey!

Dynamic Navigation Updates

To streamline navigation, buttons across the wiki now adapt based on the section you’re exploring. Whether you’re diving into Wild Food & Medicine, Queers of History, or another area, you’ll find links that make jumping between sections intuitive and easy.

What’s Next?

  • Finish creating entries for the new names in Queers of History.
  • Add more recipes to the Recipe Index and expand Wild Food & Medicine.
  • Flesh out the Human Curiosities and Leftist Stuff categories with fresh, engaging content.
  • Continue to collect and organize all my interests into this one creative space.

Thanks for following along on this ever-evolving journey. Jack of All Arts is becoming the hub of everything I love, and I can’t wait to share even more with you soon.

~ Jack
