Ingredients

  • 2 oz tequila
  • 1 oz fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 oz orange liqueur (e.g., Cointreau)
  • 1/2 oz agave syrup
  • Ice cubes
  • Lime wedge and salt for the rim (optional)

Instructions

  • Optional: Run a lime wedge around the rim of your glass and dip it into salt.
  • In a cocktail shaker, combine tequila, lime juice, orange liqueur, agave syrup, and ice. Shake well.
  • Strain into the prepared glass over ice and garnish with a lime wedge.
